Mixed Gas Training
We offer a wide variety of mixed gas training. Courses offered
include: Nitrox, Advanced Nitrox, Decompression Procedures,
Trimix, Advanced Trimix, Nitrox Blender, Advanced Gas Blender,
and Instructor levels.

Nitrox
The TDI Nitrox course is designed to teach divers about the hazards and benefits of diving Enriched Air
Nitrox (EAN) This course is perfect for divers planning on utilizing up to 40% Oxygen as their breathing gas.
Nitrox benefits can include: More bottom time, less decompression time, added diver safety with regards to
the bends, and less diver fatigue. This course is also designed to serve as a prerequisite to other technical
diving courses.
The TDI Nitrox course, when taught alone is a one day course. Please allow approximately four hours to
complete this course. The Nitrox Course can be taken in conjunction with many other programs.
Prerequisites:
- Minimum age of 15 with parental consent
- Minimum Certification of Open Water Diver

Advanced Nitrox/Decompression Procedures
The Advanced Nitrox and Decompression Procedures Courses are typically taken simultaneously. Together,
these two programs are intended to teach you the techniques necessary to minimize the risks of
decompression diving and to utilize Nitrox mixes up to 100% for more efficient decompression.
The Advanced Nitrox and Decompression Procedures Course is conducted over a minimum of five days.
Course hours are typically 9:00am until 5:00pm each day. Course locations will be chosen based on the
students skill and certification level.
Prerequisites:
- Minimum age of 18
- Minimum Certification of TDI Nitrox or equivalent
- Minimum of 25 logged dives

Trimix
The TDI Trimix Course is designed for divers who would like to utilize helium enriched mixtures to extend
their depth limits. This program will allow divers to dive to a maximum depth of 200' and utilize mixes
containing at least 18% oxygen.
The TDI Trimix course is conducted over a minimum of 3 days. Course hours are typically 9:00am until
5:00pm each day. The Trimix course when taught in conjunction with the Advanced Trimix Course is a six
day course.
Prerequisites:
- Minimum age of 18
- Minimum Certification of TDI Advanced Nitrox/Decompression Procedures or equivalent
- Minimum of 100 logged dives

Advanced Trimix
The TDI Advanced Trimix Course is designed for divers who would like to utilize helium enriched mixtures to
extend their depth limits. This program will allow divers to dive to a maximum depth of 330' and utilize
mixes containing any mixture of Helium, Oxygen, and Nitrogen.
The TDI Advanced Trimix course is conducted over a minimum of 4 days. Course hours are typically 9:00am
until 5:00pm each day. The Advanced Trimix course when taught in conjunction with the Trimix Course is a
six day course.
Prerequisites:
- Minimum age of 18
- Minimum Certification of TDI Trimix or equivalent
- Minimum of 100 logged dives with 25 deeper than 100'

Nitrox Gas Blender
The TDI Nitrox Gas Blender Course is designed for divers who would like to have the ability to mix their own
Nitrox, or for those who work at dive shops which offer Nitrox. This course will train divers in a variety of
blending methods and will teach divers to blend up to 40% Nitrox.
The TDI Nitrox Gas Blender course, when taught alone is a one day course. Course hours are typically
9:00am until 5:00pm each day. The Nitrox Blender course when taught in conjunction with the Advanced
Gas Blender Course is a two day course.

Advanced Gas Blender
The TDI Advanced Gas Blender Course is designed for divers who would like to have the ability to mix their
own Nitrox, Trimix and Pure Oxygen, or for those who work at dive shops which offer Mixed Gases. This
course will train divers in a variety of blending methods and will teach divers to blend any gas mixture
containing Oxygen, Nitrogen, and/or Helium.
The TDI Advanced Gas Blender course, when taught alone is a one day course. Course hours are typically
9:00am until 5:00pm each day.
Prerequisites:
- Minimum age of 18
- Minimum Certification of TDI Nitrox Gas Blender or equivalent

Additional Course Information
What is included in my course fee?
Your course fee includes instruction only. Please be aware that you are not paying for certification. You are
paying for instruction. The certification is earned through the development of proper skills, attitude, control,
and awareness. Some divers require additional days beyond course minimums. Divers are encouraged to
progress at a pace that is comfortable for the individual. We do not produce rubber stamp divers, we truly
believe in quality education and quality divers.

Depending on the course you are enrolled in, we may be diving in caves, lakes, quarries, or in the ocean.
