Dedicated to Providing the Highest Quality in Technical Diving Instruction
Cavern, Intro to Cave, Full Cave, and
Specialties
If you are interested in learning to safely explore the fascinating
world of submerged caves, we can help. In our TDI and NACD
cavern course, you will begin by learning fundamental cave diving
skills. As you progress through intro and full cave, you will build
upon these skills and develop the discipline and mental awareness
necessary to survive in this challenging and amazing environment.

Cavern
The cavern course is designed to teach divers about the hazards of cave and cavern diving and to develop
the fundamental skills needed for exploring the cavern environment. In this course, you will learn proper
use of guidelines, propulsion techniques, and situation management skills.
The cavern course requires a minimum of two days. Course hours are typically 9:00am until 5:00pm each
day. The cavern course when taught in conjunction with the Intro to Cave course is a four day course. The
cavern course when taught in conjunction with the Intro to cave and the full cave course is an eight day
course.
Prerequisites:
- Minimum age of 15 with parental consent
- Minimum Certification of Open Water Diver
- Minimum of 25 logged dives
Please See Additional Course Information near the bottom of the page.
Intro to Cave
The Intro to Cave course is designed to build upon the skills that were developed during the cavern course,
and introduce divers to the cave environment. Emphasis will be placed on situation management,
propulsion techniques, team work, control, and awareness.
The Intro to Cave course requires a minimum of two days. Course hours are typically
9:00am until 5:00pm each day. The Intro to Cave course when taught in conjunction with the Cavern
course is a four day course. The Intro to Cave course when taught in conjunction with the Cavern and the
Full Cave course is an eight day course.
Prerequisites:
- Minimum age of 15 with parental consent
- Minimum Certification of TDI, NSS-CDS, or NACD Cavern

Full Cave
The Full Cave course is designed to build upon the skills that were developed during the cavern and Intro to
Cave course, and develop complex navigation skills. This is one of the highest levels of certification a diver
can achieve. Our certification standards are some of the highest in the industry. After the completion of this
course, divers will have truly mastered the arts of buoyancy, control, awareness, and skills specific to cave
diving situations.
The Full Cave course requires a minimum of four days. Course hours are typically
9:00am until 5:00pm each day. The Full Cave course when taught in conjunction with the Cavern and the
Intro to Cave course is an eight day course.
Prerequisites:
- Minimum age of 18
- Minimum Certification of TDI, NSS-CDS, or NACD Intro to Cave
Please See Additional Course Information near the bottom of the page.
DPV Cave Diver
The Diver Propulsion Vehicle Cave Diver course is designed to teach certified cave divers the necessary
techniques for planning DPV cave dives and overcoming and avoiding potential emergency situations.
Divers may bring their own DPVs or rent Silent-Submersion DPVs from us. Divers need to have mastered
buoyancy, trim, and propulsion skills before enrolling in this program.
The DPV Cave Diver course requires a minimum of two days. Course hours are typically 9:00am until
5:00pm each day.
Prerequisites:
- 50 logged Cave Dives after full cave certification
- Minimum Certification of TDI, NSS-CDS, or NACD Full Cave Diver
Please See Additional Course Information near the bottom of the page.
Sidemount Cave Diver
The Sidemount Cave Diver course will introduce divers to an alternative diving configuration allowing access
to smaller and/or more remote cave locations. Divers will learn to appreciate the many advantages of
sidemount diving including; access to additional caves, ease of transportation, added stability and
maneuverability, and true redundancy.
The Sidemount Cave Diver course requires a minimum of two days. Course hours are typically 9:00am until
5:00pm each day.
Prerequisites:
- 50 logged Cave Dives after full cave certification
- Minimum Certification of TDI, NSS-CDS, or NACD Full Cave Diver

Stage Cave Diver
The Stage Cave Diver course is for divers who would like to extend their range in the cave through the use
of staged cylinders. Divers will learn to safely plan and conduct cave dives requiring additional gas beyond
what is normally carried on the divers back or in sidemount cylinders. This course combines nicely with the
DPV cave diver course.
The Sidemount Cave Diver course requires a minimum of two days. Course hours are typically 9:00am until
5:00pm each day.
Prerequisites:
- 50 logged Cave Dives after full cave certification
